On the 44th anniversary of the loss of HMS Ardent and 22 members of her crew during the Falklands Conflict on 21 May 1982, the HMS Ardent Association held a memorial service at the Falklands Maritime Memorial in Belvedere Gardens on Plymouth Hoe.

Other association members and friends of the HMS Ardent Association also held memorial services around the country for individual crew members and to remember the loss of HMS Ardent.
