Remembrance Sunday 2023

Around the UK ARDENT’s remembered our fallen shipmates on Remembrance Sunday. Wreaths were laid in Sally Port Portsmouth, Poole and on Plymouth Hoe where the grandson of ex-Antelope crew Bob laid the ARDENT wreath.

Young Jack placed the wreath on the Falklands memorial on behalf of our Association and for all those others of the Naval Service who were in San Carlos Water on 21 May 1982.

In London ARDENT’s joined forces with members of the Type 21 Club platoon and the Association got a call out from the BBC as they proudly marched past the Cenotaph. The team from ARDENT gathered in the Porterhouse pub and posed for a post march group photograph.

Our sea cadet unit, T.S. Ardent looked smart at the Remembrance Parade in Bollington and of course there will be the many individual moments of remembrance from members of the Association around the world, thank you.
