Floral tributes laid at the Plymouth Falklands Memorial 21 May 2014A beautiful sunny evening was witness to a very good turnout of 18 members for the floral Tribute laying at the Plymouth Hoe Memorial on Wednesday 21 May 2014.Plymouth Hoe 21 May 2014Jan Joyce placed the flowers and Tony Ray, after a one minute silence, recited the words of Laurence Binyon's poem For the Fallen, "They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old"."33 years and yet still the constriction in the throat......"second210514In addition to the regulars, it was good to see Steve Earp there. His business commitments have prevented him attending for so many years but he assures us he will be at the reunion Saturday.  Other tributes had previously been laid at the memorial, including one for the SAS personnel lost when the Sea King ditched, and red roses from Kelvin Phillips for the Ardent.Words and pictures provided by Len Yeatman
